The same date also marks Arunachal Pradesh Foundation Day, commemorating the formation of Arunachal Pradesh as a full-fledged state of India on 20 February 1987. Situated in the northeastern part of the country, the day celebrates the state’s official recognition and its journey of growth and development within the Indian Union.
