Shoolini University, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), hosted the AIU Anveshan 2025–26 International Convention at its Solan campus. The event brought together nearly 200 students and faculty members from institutions nationwide, providing a platform to present original research projects, prototypes, and innovative ideas. The convention fostered vibrant academic exchange and collaboration, encouraging young scholars to engage actively in research and problem-solving.
As AIU’s flagship student research program, Anveshan aims to cultivate scientific thinking, analytical skills, and a strong research culture among emerging researchers. Through structured presentations and interactive sessions, participants showcased research outcomes aligned with national priorities and global challenges, highlighting the transformative power of innovation in driving development.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Ashoo Khosla, Chief Learning Officer at Shoolini University, stressed the importance of nurturing young talent through research-oriented education and innovation-driven learning environments. Dr. Amarinder Pani, Joint Director of AIU, described Anveshan as one of India’s largest student research conventions. He emphasized that research and innovation would be central to India’s vision of global leadership by 2047 and encouraged students to direct their efforts toward nation-building, noting the immense potential of the country’s youth demographic.
Prof. Ashish Khosla, President of Innovation and Marketing at Shoolini University, highlighted the value of participating in academic forums, quoting Mohammad Hidayatullah on the significance of engagement itself. He underscored that meaningful research requires asking insightful questions, pursuing innovation boldly, and collectively building knowledge. He further noted that scientific advancement depends on interdisciplinary collaboration and a shared intellectual purpose.
Reflecting on India’s scientific heritage, Prof. Vinay Pathak, President of AIU, pointed to the contributions of ancient scholars, rishis, and mathematicians, citing luminaries like Srinivasa Ramanujan. He highlighted how Indian research traditions integrate intellectual rigor with higher consciousness and urged young researchers to embrace emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and quantum technologies to address global challenges.
In his address, Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla encouraged participants to aim for international excellence, think beyond boundaries, and aspire to leadership roles in science and innovation, positioning India prominently on the global research map. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Associate Professor Chander Mohan Gupta, who noted that every innovation begins as an idea and requires structured planning and execution to evolve into meaningful research outcomes.
