15 March is observed as both World Consumer Rights Day and World Sparrow Day, highlighting the need to protect people and nature simultaneously. World Consumer Rights Day emphasizes the importance of safeguarding consumers by ensuring access to safe products, accurate information, and fair treatment, while raising awareness about fraud, unsafe goods, and unfair business practices. At the same time, World Sparrow Day draws attention to the declining population of sparrows and other small birds in urban areas, promoting efforts such as tree planting, creating bird habitats, and raising awareness about biodiversity and environmental balance. Together, these observances remind us of our responsibilities toward both societal welfare and ecological conservation
