Senior Congress leader Pratibha Singh has appealed for unity and coordinated effort among party workers as the state gears up for Municipal Corporation, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and Urban Local Body elections.
Speaking on Saturday, the All India Congress Working Committee member and former Himachal Pradesh Congress president urged workers to set aside differences and work collectively to strengthen the party’s prospects in the upcoming civic polls.
She emphasized that the Congress has always focused on public welfare and said success in the four Municipal Corporations would require discipline, teamwork, and full support for officially nominated candidates.
Remembering the legacy of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Pratibha Singh said his commitment to party discipline and organisational strength continues to guide the Congress in the state. She added that the best way to honour his legacy is to reinforce party unity and work towards electoral success.
She further appealed to workers, especially her supporters, to actively participate in strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level. According to her, sustained unity and dedication would be key to ensuring the Congress emerges stronger in the forthcoming elections.
