Cabinet Panel Approves Rural Construction Regulation Plan

A meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on regulation of construction activities in rural areas was held today under the chairmanship of Revenue, Horticulture, and Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi.

The meeting was attended by Technical Education and Town and Country Planning Minister Rajesh Dharmani and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh.

During the meeting, the Sub-Committee approved a model plan aimed at regulating construction activities in rural areas across the state. The approved draft will now be placed before the upcoming state Cabinet meeting for final consideration and approval.

Officials said the initiative is intended to bring greater uniformity and regulation to rural construction while ensuring planned and sustainable development.
