Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta visited the revered Tara Devi Temple in Shimla on Sunday and offered prayers for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. Lady Governor Bindu Gupta accompanied him during the visit.
The Governor sought the blessings of Maa Tara Devi for the continued progress and development of Himachal Pradesh and prayed for the welfare of citizens, social harmony and unity in society.
During his visit, he appreciated the spiritual ambience of the historic temple and emphasized the need to preserve the state’s rich cultural and religious heritage. He noted that Tara Devi Temple remains an important centre of faith, drawing devotees from across the country.
Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Shimla Rural, Manjeet Sharma welcomed the Governor on the occasion.
The visit underscored the Governor’s respect for Himachal Pradesh’s spiritual traditions and cultural values, while reaffirming the importance of harmony and collective well-being.
