Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani has strongly condemned BJP leader Sudhir Sharma for making objectionable remarks against CM Sukhu, urging him to maintain decorum and adhere to the state’s cultured political tradition.
Dharmani stated that the uncivil language used against the Chief Minister violates Himachal Pradesh’s long-standing culture of mutual respect and personal dignity across party lines. He alleged that Sharma is using hostile rhetoric out of political frustration to gain cheap publicity and elevate his standing amid internal friction within the BJP.
Defending Chief Minister Sukhu’s grounded approach—including recent public interactions like visiting a local barber—Dharmani emphasized that coming from an ordinary family and connecting naturally with common citizens reflects true leadership, not weakness. Calling for political restraint, the Minister advised Sharma to refrain from personal attacks and respect the state’s dignified democratic norms.
