Online registration for paddy procurement during the Kharif 2026–27 season officially opened on September 15, 2026. Farmers across the state can log onto the HP APP portal to complete their registration and schedule token slots at their convenience. According to Kumud Singh, Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, the official procurement drive will run from October 3 to December 15, 2026, across 11 designated procurement centers located in four key districts: Kangra, Solan, Una, and Sirmaur.

To streamline the process, a new registration feature has been integrated with AgriStack’s Farmer Registry this year. Farmers already registered under AgriStack will have their personal and land details automatically verified online, eliminating the need for manual land record verification by the local Patwari, though they must still enter their bank details manually. Those not enrolled in AgriStack can register directly via the HP APP portal, where land records will undergo online verification by the Patwari and crop details will be confirmed by local agriculture officers as per standard procedure.

The Central Government has raised the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy to ₹2,461 per quintal for the 2026–27 season, representing an increase of ₹72 per quintal compared to last year. Director Kumud Singh has urged farmers across the four designated districts to take advantage of the official MSP at these 11 state-run procurement centers. Additionally, Agriculture Department officials have been directed to widespread awareness regarding the updated MSP to encourage maximum participation from the farming community.
