At the foundation day celebrations of Shri Sai University in Palampur, Governor Kavinder Gupta delivered an inspiring address to students and faculty, stressing that true education goes far beyond classroom degrees. He highlighted that modern universities must prepare young people with real-world skills, innovative thinking, and the confidence to start their own ventures.
The Governor pointed out that higher education in a mountainous state like Himachal Pradesh opens up huge doors of opportunity for rural youth. He specifically praised initiatives related to mountain research, adventure sports, and disaster management, noting that these fields match the state’s natural strengths. Addressing the students directly, he urged them to embrace technology, value their roots, and build careers around discipline, integrity, and continuous learning.
