The Himachal Pradesh Government has officially opened nominations and recommendations for three prestigious state honours for 2027: the Civil Service Awards, Prerna Srot Samman, and Himachal Gaurav Puraskar. Individuals and institutions making extraordinary contributions to public service, society, and governance are invited to submit their applications to the General Administration Department by December 31, 2026.
To ensure deserving candidates across all sectors are recognized, the state government has issued formal directives to all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Deputy Commissioners to identify and recommend eligible achievers. All received entries will undergo rigorous evaluation by a high-level state scrutiny committee before the final awardees are selected.
Conferred annually during the grand Himachal Day celebrations on April 15, these awards honor exceptional performance, dedicated public service, and inspirational community impact. Applicants and nominating authorities are required to submit prescribed forms—available on the official government portal—along with a brief two-page summary in Hindi detailing key accomplishments, backed by relevant supporting documentation before the closing deadline.
