Auck.Boys.14.8-(7)insideThe spirit of patriotism was celebrated by the students of Auckland House School (Boys) as they paid homage to the martyrs and hoisted the tricolour in the school on the occasion. The function started with hoisting of flag by the School Principal Michael A John, after which the National Anthem was sung. Students celebrated the day by singing a Hymn – Land of Our Birth followed by scripture reading; a write up by Aayush Goel and a short prayer – For Our Country Lords Prayer.

During the cultural program students exhibited their extra ordinary skills as they performed a patriotic poem Tirangaa; an action song – India Waale (juniors); a short skit – ‘Sacchi Swantantrata’; a performance by the school band – suno gaur se and finally a dance performance – Jai Ho (seniors).

Everyone enjoyed the show and felt proud to be part of such great nation.
