Swaran Public School Organises Rally on World Environment Day

Poster Making Competition and Poetry Recitation Mark Celebrations

Swaran Public School, Tutikandi celebrated World Environment Day with an awareness rally, in which students were made aware of the relevance of this day. Almost one hundred and fifty students from Classes V – VIII, rallied through Tutikandi, Jungli ground, Ridka village and returned to school via zoo road.

Various slogans were shouted by the students to make the general population aware of the significance of saving the environment. Slogans like Go Green; If you save the Earth, the Earth will save you; Trees are our life; It is our duty, to save the environment’s beauty echoed all around leaving a deep impact on people.

Classes three and four participated in poster making competition on the theme of environment day. Students of classes one and two recited poems on the theme Environment Clean, Go Green!

Principal, Seema Mehta, appreciated the staff members Reena Tasta, Omprakash Negi, Vibhuti and Poonam Sharma who accompanied the students for the rally.

This endeavour of the school was highly praised by the parents.
