St Thomas Students Mark the World Day for Audio Visual Heritage

St Thomas School marked the special assembly here today as the “World Day for Audio Visual Heritage as the theme for the day was to “DISCOVER, REMEMBER, SHARE”. Students of Class V enthusiastically participated in the event which was witnessed by the Junior section. Students talked about the different types of audio visual aids that were used in the past and the ways to preserve them.

A small video clip was also shown on the audio visual heritage and the ways to preserve them. it also gave an opportunity to the students to give an expression to the thoughts that existed in their minds.

Cheering the students for their creativity, school principal Vidhupriya Chakarvarty said, “Today is a growing trend of globalization and a conscious effort is indeed required to keep the heritage alive”.
