The registration process of State Level Inter School Quiz Competition namely Himachal Enviro Quiz- 2022 being organised by the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board in association with ITC Nimyle Eco Friendly India Mission has come to an end on 17.05.2022. There is an overwhelming response received from the Schools for participation in this event, wherein, students from Class 8th to 12th would compete in online District Level round scheduled to be held on 20.05.2022. It is worthwhile to note that 3023 public and private higher and senior secondary schools have registered 5951 teams across the State. All 5951 teams shall play the online District Level round on 20th May 2022, which will be conducted on a dedicated website (bit.ly/himachalenviroquiz2022) created specifically for this quiz competition.
An online link shall be shared with each registered School on 19th May 2022 to obtain their admit card(s). The online District level round will be held on 20.05.2022 between 9 AM to 2 PM, wherein, individual team will have to take/answer 30 questions in 15 minutes. Results of online round shall be declared on 21st May 2022. Top 36 winning teams will move to physical round of the State Level Quiz Competition scheduled to be held on 05.06.2022 at the Himachal Pradesh University Auditorium Shimla to commemorate occasion of the World Environment Day 2022. Top 6 finalists selected from semi-final round shall get certificates, trophies and fabulous prizes, while all semi-finalists (36 teams) shall also get away with prizes and certificates as well. In addition, all participants shall be issued e-certificate through online registered account. The physical round of the State Level Quiz Competition shall be hosted by quizmaster Mr. Venky Srinivasan, CEO, Nexus Consulting.
