Complete Transparency And Accountability In Examination Process

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on the very first day of holding the reins of the State had made it clear that the Government would provide transparent, accountable and responsive Government to the people of the State. This was stated by the Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan while addressing the media here today. Naresh Chauhan said that the Chief Minister has made it loud and clear that the State Government would ensure that all the examinations and tests to be conducted in the State by various agencies would be held in a transparent and responsive manner. He said that keeping in view this commitment of the Chief Minister in mind, the State Police Department was keeping a strict vigil on all examinations in process.

Principal Advisor (Media) said that a big breakthrough was achieved today when one person named Sanjay was arrested today on the complaint of Abhilash, who has offered to provide him solved question paper of JOA(IT) examination to be held on 25th of this month for Rs 2.50 lakh. Naresh Chauhan said that the Police Team verified the facts and were found to be substantial. He said that the tout (Sanjay) again contacted the complainant to meet at NIIT Hamirpur who along with him went to the house at Housing Board colony of Uma Azad (Sr. Superintendent Secrecy Branch HPSSC), who along with her son Nikhi Azad provided the question paper which was already solved. He said that the team apprehended them at 1:20 PM and recovered the money and solved question papers. He said that all this was possible due to the proactive stance adopted by the State Government and the resolve of the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to adopt and ensure complete transparency and accountability in examination process to uphold the faith of lakhs of youths of the State in search of employment.
