Inching closer to the final days when 15 schools will compete in the upcoming Inter-School Hindi Drama Competition, the focus of the event still stays on skill building exercises. The Core Team members of the Children’s Theatre Festival are visiting schools to review the practices and guide the teachers and students.

Noted director Kedar Thakur visited Himalaya Public School, where he conducted a few acting exercises with the students. The focus of the workshop was characterisation as well as working as a team. He told them that any performance works best when the artists work together in tandem to put up a great production. He also emphasised that rehearsals are an integral part of any performance and should be done seriously.
