Tourism and Horticulture Sectors Discussed by MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore at Theog Camp

Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board organized an awareness camp today at AN Vashishtha Banquet Hall, Theog with the aim of increasing awareness about social welfare schemes. MLA Theog assembly constituency Kuldeep Singh Rathore participated in the camp as chief guest whereas Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Nardev Singh Kanwar presided over the program.

About 125 people and local public representatives were given information about the schemes being provided by the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board. While addressing, MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore said that the workers should get themselves registered with the board so that they can avail the benefits of the schemes. He appreciated the various welfare schemes being run by the Board and highlighted its positive impact on the lives of construction workers. He said that social welfare schemes should reach the last person who needs them the most.

He also laid emphasis on tourism and horticulture sectors. On this occasion, he also distributed inductions to the eligible beneficiaries. Nardev Singh Kanwar said in his address that 13 different social welfare schemes were being implemented by the Board under the able leadership of the Chief Minister. He requested the local representatives and people from all political backgrounds to spread awareness about these schemes so that the needy and eligible workers engaged in construction activities can get the benefits.

During the awareness session, Kanwar stressed on the need to spread the vision and mission of the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board widely. He assured all possible support to the beneficiaries of the Board. He interacted with the common people and listened to their problems and assured them to resolve all the genuine issues in the interest of the construction workers.
During the camp, the beneficiaries were made aware about various schemes of the Board. The registered beneficiaries shared their experiences and informed about the benefits received from various welfare schemes run by the Board. On this occasion, Block President Narendra Kanwar and other dignitaries were also present.
