Chief Minister Urges Public to Support Armed Forces Welfare Fund

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu marked Armed Forces Flag Day by being pinned with the symbolic flag by Director of Sainik Welfare Department, Brigadier Madan Sheel Sharma, in a ceremony held today. The Chief Minister also made a personal contribution to the Armed Forces Welfare Fund and called upon the people of the state to contribute generously to the fund. He emphasized that the fund plays a vital role in supporting the welfare of serving personnel and ex-servicemen.

Health and Sainik Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil and MLA Harish Janartha were also present on the occasion, adding their support to the initiative.
