Rs. 70.26 Crore Development Projects for Baijnath

On the concluding day of his winter sojourn and after the Statehood Day celebrations, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu laid foundation stones and inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 70.26 crore for Baijnath. He laid the foundation stone for Rs. 44 crore drinking water project for Baijnath-Paprola town.

Additionally, he initiated Rs. 9.23 crore 33/11 KV electricity substation in Bir and Rs. 2.91 crore road construction project from Kumarada to Madhonagar Nain Bhankhed. The Chief Minister inaugurated Rs. 9 crore paragliding training center at the world-famous paragliding site in Bir and dedicated two parking facilities near Kyori (Bir) and the paragliding landing site, built at a cost of Rs. 5.12 crore, to the public. Baijnath MLA Kishori Lal expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for these projects and stated that these projects were made without any prior requests, reflecting the CM’s dedication to the welfare of the region. He also said that hosting the Statehood Day celebration in Baijnath was a moment of pride for the constituency.
