On November 12th and 13th, Auckland House School Society hosted its annual Nativity Programme at the respective school auditoriums of Auckland House School (Girls) and Auckland House School for Boys. The event was graced by The Most Rev. (Dr.) P.K. Samantaroy, Bishop of the Diocese of Amritsar, and Rev. (Dr.) Vinita Roy, Presbyter-in-Charge of Christ Church, Shimla. Director Principal Smaraki Samantaroy was also present on both days, enhancing the occasion with her leadership and support.
The programme began at 11:00 a.m. with a processional carol, setting a festive and reflective tone. Scriptural readings from the Holy Bible followed, paving the way for the central performance: a play depicting the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. The students’ portrayal captivated the audience, with their expressive storytelling and dedication shining through. Complementing the play were harmonious carols sung by the school choir, adding to the emotional and spiritual atmosphere. The event concluded with a recessional carol.
The Management and esteemed guests lauded the students’ impressive talents and the production’s meticulous execution. Their commendations resonated warmly with the audience, reinforcing the shared sense of pride and unity that defined the day. The guests’ presence not only underscored the programme’s importance but also celebrated the season’s spirit and the collaborative efforts of both schools. Principal Reuben T. John shared his praise for the participants, whose warm spirits resonated with the ambiance of the holy celebrations.
