Shurala, Shimla In a heartwarming and unforgettable event, Shimla Nursing College organized a grand farewell gala on October 23, 2023, to bid a sweet goodbye to the outgoing batch of B.Sc. Nursing 4th year students. Hosted by the juniors, B.Sc. Nursing 3rd year, the theme of the day was “A SWEET GOODBYE TO NEW BEGINNINGS,” symbolizing the warm wishes for the graduates embarking on a new journey.
The event commenced with the traditional “Lamp Lighting Ceremony,” graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mr. Mohit Sood, Managing Director, Dr. Kimi Sood, Secretary, and the college’s Principal, Dr. Krishna Chauhan.
The evening unfolded with an impressive modeling showcase by the final year students, setting the stage for a memorable farewell. Dr. Krishna Chauhan, the Principal of Shimla Nursing College, delivered an inspiring speech, motivating the students to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.
The audience was treated to a delightful array of performances, including scintillating Bollywood dances, captivating Fusion dance acts, energetic Bhangra performances, and traditional Himachali Natti dances.
The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Miss Farewell 2023. Dr. Krishna Chauhan, along with Associate Professors Dr. Pallavi Pathania and Ms. Ritika Soni, had the honor of bestowing this prestigious title, which was awarded to Ms. Saijal.
