A Visit To Jungle — Poem by  Neha Grover

Passing through the woods,

Was never my choice.

But sometimes choices change as the passing time.

Seeing different aspects of forest,

Was never I expected that I will be Joyful.

Entering it, made my heart from empty to full.

My eyes were wide open,

To the welcome given by the jungle.

Birds are flying high in the sky,

Chirping, looks like saying hi.

I was aware of one colour of Rose that is Red,

But I was mesmerised seeing white, yellow and Black .

Nature has given us so much,

But why we are not grateful for those things as such?

It would make us regret once they leave,

It could be nature, parents, siblings, Husband or wife.

Seeing the bond between monkey mumma and her son,

Made me remind of my childhood days,

When mother used to hold my hand and she never allowed to pass the road alone in  anyways.

Trees there were so tall and green,

As if telling me to take  an oath,

Make the Earth again full of colour green.
