Aadil4417 (1)Aadil Bedi will hold the Indian Flag high at the IMG World Junior at San Diego, California for record 6th time in the US in July 2017 competition. This is big moment for the city teenager who has just finished his Class X exams from Vivek High school, Chandigarh. He already finished as Runner Up in the World Star of Junior Golf last year at TPC Las Vegas, USA. This years’ event will be played at the Torrey Pines Golf course, a proud moment for his family.

Aadil said, “I made couple of mistake last year on closing holes on final day and lost the World Cup by a single shot. I have learnt a lot for these high pressure games to try and win at international level. I hope to bring a medal for my country this year”.

The Indian Golf Union New Delhi has recommended his name based upon IGU merit list of last year. This year I started playing Amateur circuit matches. I have already played one opening match at BPGC Mumbai in February. I will be playing Four Amateur matches before I move to USA in July. I already have confirmation for two important matches to be played, that is the World Star of Junior Golf Championship at Las Vegas, USA and the FCG International.

At present I am preparing on my swing with my coach Jesse Grewal, the progress of which is being closely watched by my special golf coach Bob Byman at USA through Videos. Special speed training is also going on with Dr Gurmeet Singh as to be more fit this year for the upcoming important matched to be played in the Golf World Cup in USA, Aadil added.
