Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla released ‘Himachali Swag’ – Pani Ri Tanki, sung by noted playback singer Alka Yagnik and Himachali singer Dilip Sirmauri, at Raj Bhavan today. While congratulating Dilip Sirmauri on the occasion, the Governor said that Himachal has rich culture and customs besides its traditional heritage.

“Along with modernity, it is very important to preserve them and need to pass them on to the future generations”, said Shukla. I hope, that the duet played by Alka Yagnik, and Himachali singer Dilip Sirmauri, will receive nationwide praise and give a fillip to Himachali folk, he said. Rajesh Sharma, Secretary to Governor was also present on the occasion.
