Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty, St Thomas School, Shimla informed that the school has achieved 98 per cent results in the 12th Class CBSE Board Exams – 2014. She added that Apoorv Gautam from Non Medical stream had secured 90 per cent with 94 marks in Chemistry and 95 in Mathematics, meanwhile Harshita Singh was the topper among Commerce students with 80.4 per cent marks and 95 in Business Studies, and Pritiyush Raj Bhatti came in close second with 80 per cent marks and 95 marks in Business Studies respectively. Principal Chakravarty lauded the efforts of the students as well as her staff who had also put in hard work for a successful result.
Other top achievers from the school were Tenzin Legden with 94 marks followed by Amandeep Kaur with 92 marks in Biology; topper in Economics was Mehak Bhardwaj with 91 marks; Diksha Sharma scored 93 in Business Studies and the leaders in English were Satyam Chhabra with 95 marks, Reena Kumari with 94 marks and Eshaan Sharma with 92 Marks.
