Art and Craft Exhibition held at AHS

The Art and Craft Exhibition, Junior Section from Nursery to Form II was held on August 3, 2024. Kiran Thakur, Junior Wing coordinator, Bishop Cotton School, was present as the Chief Guest.

The event began with welcoming of the Chief Guest by the School Director Sunita John and Principal Smaraki Samantaroy which was followed by ribbon cutting ceremony. The chief guest was happy with the exhibited art work of the students and appreciated the collective efforts put in by the students and teachers.

For the exhibition students made articles like pencil holders, photo frames, paper folding craft, leaf pasting, lamp shades and jewellery made out of foil paper. Projects were also displayed on various topics like my family, life underwater, National Symbols, places around us, seasons, germination, sense organs, Solar System and good touch bad touch.

The exhibition was appreciated and liked by all who visited. The whole exhibition was very colourful and vibrant. The day ended on a happy note as students felt satisfied with their fruit of labour.
