Auckland Boys bring Tribal Culture to Life

Auckland Boys School Tribal Dance

Auckland Boys School Tribal Dance Ritanjali Hastir, Associate Editor, 29th August, 2017, Shimla

Student of Auckland House School for Boys exhibited great dance performances where there transported the audiences to the land of tribal region. As per their annual event calendar school organized an Inter House Dance Competition where each House came forward and gave a spell bounding performance giving a glimpse of various dances. This year dance competition was based on a tribal theme.

Rosy Gupta and Shaveta Sethi teachers from Auckland House School for Girls were the judges for the competition who was pleased to see the hard work put in by the teachers and students. They appreciated and encouraged students for their future.   

Results were as follows — Lefroy House first, French second, Matthew third and Durrant fourth.

Best Dancers included French House – Abhishek Chauhan; Durrant House – Arya Bhinta; Matthew House – Sarthak Bhimta; and Lefroy House – Vansh Gandhi.

Vansh Gandhi was judged as the overall best dancer for the competition.  

School Principal Micheal A John congratulated all the participants for putting up a great show and lauded the student’s efforts.
