On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Auckland House School for Boys hosted a remarkable cultural event combining Children’s Day celebrations and a tribute to the legendary playwright Manohar Singh. The event, organized in collaboration with the Department of Language and Culture, showcased an adaptation of Munshi Premchand’s acclaimed short story Bade Bhai Sahab.

    A moving documentary on the life and legacy of Manohar Singh was presented, offering insights into his contributions to theater and literature.

Performance of Bade Bhai Sahab

Directed by Mr. Naresh Mincha, the play Bade Bhai Sahab captivated the audience with its thoughtful adaptation of Munshi Premchand’s story.
