In a proud moment for Auckland House School for Boys, student Samarth Gupta has qualified for the CISCE National Level Chess Championship, following an outstanding performance at the CISCE Regional Chess Tournament held in Amritsar. The event, hosted by Guru Harkrishan CKD School of Excellence, saw participation from 55 top players from various regions, all competing for national selection.
Samarth’s calm focus and strategic brilliance on the board set him apart, as he overcame stiff competition to secure a place at the national stage. His achievement not only marks a personal victory but also reflects the school’s growing emphasis on all-round excellence.
Adding further to the school’s success, the Under-17 boys’ chess team brought home a Bronze Medal, demonstrating tactical skill and teamwork throughout the tournament. Their podium finish is a testament to consistent practice, discipline, and effective guidance.
