Balh Assembly Witnesses Rs. 60 Cr Development Push

CM Sukhu today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 14 development projects worth Rs. 60 crore during his one-day visit to Diargi in the Balh Assembly constituency of Mandi district. The projects included the Rs. 25.99 crore upgradation of the Shimla-Mandi road via Tattapani (Chail Chowk to Baggi), the Rs. 6.96 crore Nehra-Fagoh road with a motorable bridge over Kansha Khad, and the Rs. 2.75 crore PWD Rest House at Dhanotu. Community infrastructure projects inaugurated included libraries at Gram Panchayats Kotli and Pandoh, a PWD Junior Engineer Office-cum-Residence at Jach, and community centres at Nichali Behli, Jacch, and Fangwas, with costs ranging from Rs. 14 lakh to Rs. 55 lakh. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Chief Minister inaugurated lift water supply schemes worth Rs. 18.79 crore covering multiple villages in Sundernagar, Balh, and Chachiot tehsils. He also laid the foundation stone for the Gadog Nallah to Barnog road, to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.67 crore. These initiatives aim to enhance road connectivity, strengthen water supply, and improve public infrastructure across the constituency.
