The debating team of Bishop Cotton School (BCS), Shimla, is gearing up for the 26th Annual Slater Debates, set to take place from Friday, October 27th to Tuesday, October 31st on the BCS campus. This highly prestigious competition, named in honor of the school’s first headmaster, Rev Dr. Samuel Slater, who led BCS from 1863-1885, draws top debating schools from across India. Last year, the girls of La Martiniere, Kolkata, emerged as the victors.
