Shemrock SmartKids Mega Showcase was held here today at Kalibari Hall, Shimla. During the event little ones presented wonderful and spellbounding performances as they danced to various tunes of Bollywood songs and nursery rhymes.

The tinty tots showed great confidence as they stepped on the stage and stood there performing without any hitch. They danced to the peppy tune of Welcome, Koi Kahe and last but the not least local Pahari Natti. Parents were excited and happy to see their children perform. (CLICK LINK TO VIEW ALL VIDEOS)

During the occasion Kusum Sadret, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla, appealed to the parents to allow their child to grow as per their pace and not to push their limits. Each child is special and does not need to compete with anyone in the world.

She stressed on the need to lead by example and quotes a story where unconditional love from a mother made Thomas Edison the greatest scientist of all times. She asked parents to be more receptive and less judgmental while dealing with their children.

The day ended on a happy note as children were awarded for their outstanding performances during the current academic year.
