In a major leap forward for local governance, CM Sukhu virtually inaugurated the newly constructed ₹2.47-crore Sub-Tehsil Office building at Bihru today. Connecting virtually from Shimla to the Kutlehar constituency in Una district, the Chief Minister congratulated local residents and highlighted how the facility will bring essential revenue services right to their doorstep, saving them time and eliminating hassle. He praised local MLA Vivek Sharma for his tireless dedication, noting that his persistent advocacy was instrumental in bringing this vital public resource to fruition.
The inauguration comes as part of a wider development surge across Kutlehar, where the state government is pouring significant resources into crucial infrastructure. To solve long-standing mobility and water challenges, the administration has sanctioned ₹5 crore for a new bridge connecting Matiyana and Bangana, alongside the ongoing implementation of the ₹15-crore Turkal-Panga drinking water scheme.
Road infrastructure is also receiving a massive overhaul, with over ₹33 crore allocated across key arterial routes. This includes ₹8.36 crore for the Lathiani–Kodra road, ₹12 crore to strengthen the Bangana–Shantla stretch, and ₹13 crore dedicated to constructing the Hatli–Talpi road. Reaffirming his government’s commitment to the region’s overall growth, CM Sukhu assured that funding will never stand in the way of Kutlehar’s progress. Expressing deep gratitude, MLA Vivek Sharma thanked the Chief Minister for his empathetic leadership and steadfast support in addressing the community’s needs.
