More than 250 students from classes two to five of Bal Shiksha Niketan High School, Chakkar visited the Boilueganj Gurudwara Sahib and participated in the “Sanget Ki Pargat” here today. Principal Kalpana Sharma informed that the students saw educational films about Guru Nanak Dev and other Sant Gurus. They also received books on the life and works of renowned gurus and learnt about various other religions practiced in our country.
The children also participated in the bhajan kirtan programme, performed ardas and did selfless work in the Gurudwara. Principal Sharma concluded that every month children are sent on such different exertions through which they are taught life skills and different values important in ones lives.
