The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Satwant Atwal Trivedi, IPS, Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh Prisons and Correctional Services, and an esteemed alumna of Auckland House School for Girls. A key highlight of the event was the Variety Entertainment Programme, showcasing an impressive range of student talents. The performances began with the Opening Hymn “As the Deer Pants” and featured English and Hindi plays, choir performances, instrumental music, and energetic dance recitals. Notable acts included the Senior Choir’s lively rendition of Rasputin”, the UPD Choir’s “Five Hundred Miles” and “O Susanna”, the English play “The Apple”, and the Hindi play ‘Sapnon Ki Udaan. Traditional dances like Bihu and Bhangra added cultural vibrancy, while a melodious piano recital by Varchasav Shyam and a spirited performance by the School Band added further charm.

In her address, Satwant Atwal Trivedi inspired students to uphold values of discipline, courage, and national service. Drawing on her personal and professional experiences, she stressed the importance of perseverance and integrity in achieving one’s goals. She also applauded the Principal, faculty, and students for their commitment to holistic education, and lauded the day’s programme for its creativity, discipline, and excellence.

The event also featured a prize distribution ceremony, recognising student achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.
