Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today presided over the last cultural night of state level Shoolini fair at historic Thodo Ground Solan. The Chief Minister released the souvenir of Mela on the occasion.  The Chief Minister also witnessed wrestling bouts on the occasion and honoured the winner of the wrestling competition. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the people of Solan for celebrating the fair after the gap of two years due to the Corona pandemic. He said that the Shoolini fair has great religious and cultural importance for the people of the whole district in particular and the state in general. The Chief Minister prayed to Mata Shoolini to shower her blessings on people of the state.

DC Solan and Chairperson Mela Committee Kritika Kulhari felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting him a memento and Himachali shawl. Pahari singer Kuldeep Sharma was the main attraction of the event. Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Health Minister Dr. Rajeev Saizal, MP and BJP State President Suresh Kashyap, MLA Solan Col Dhani Ram Shandil, MLA Doon Parmjeet Singh Pammi, Chairman Zila Parishad Ramesh Thakur, Chairman APMC Sanjeev Kashyap, District BJP President Ashutosh Vaidya, Rattan Singh Pal, Member BJP State Executive Dr. Rajesh Kashyap, Vice Chairperson Tourism Development Board Rashmi Dhar Sood and  SP Solan Virender Sharma were present on the occasion among others.
