Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh presided over the meeting held with all the Deputy Commissioners and Chief Medical Officers of the state through video conference from Shimla today. He said that Swarnim Himachal Rath Yatra would be organized across the state to commemorate the Golden Jubilee year of Statehood of Himachal Pradesh. He said that 51 events would also be organised across the State in befitting manner by the different departments.
He directed all the Deputy Commissioners to identify the places for organizing the events. He said that these events would be organised on the basis of theme of special attractions related to the district. He said that the developmental history of the state would be showcased in the Rath Yatra and the participation of general public would be ensured.
Ram Subhag Singh congratulated the Deputy Commissioners and Chief Medical Officers for achieving the target of 100 percent Covid vaccination for first dose by the state. He asked them to continue the campaign with more dedication.
Secretary Health Amitabh Awasthi, Director Rural Development Rugved Thakur and other senior officers of the State Government were also present on the occasion.
