CM Lays Foundation Stones of Crores of Rupees in Seraj Area of Mandi district

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while laying the foundation stones of Rs. 48.65 crore Administrative Block, Academic Block, Auditorium, Residential quarters 6 Type-I and 6 Type-II and one Type-V, Security and Animal House of Government Pharmacy College Building at Bagsiad,  Rs. 13.92 crore Girls Hostel Block and Staff Quarters 3 Type-III and 8 Type-IV of Government Pharmacy College, today said that the Government Pharmacy College Seraj was established in the year 2019 to impart quality technical education in the area of Pharmacy aspirants of the state.  He said that about 210 students were studying in this College and the institution was experiencing a fast academic growth and imparts quality-based Pharmacy education. Chief Minister said that the campus would be spread on of 2.5 acres of land and have quality designed laboratory, classroom and library, hostels, auditorium, indoor gym and games, staff quarter, medical store and principal residence.

Jai Ram Thakur also inaugurated Rs. 15 lakh   Health Sub Centre Building at Juda, Rs.  1.06 crore WSS Dhansal Nallah/Jwal to village Kanda, Surahad and Upper Shangrar under RIDF-XXV and laid foundation stones of Rs. 6.63 crore crore LIS in Gram Panchayats Murhag, Sharan and Kandha Bagsiad, Rs. 14.24 crore Renovation and remodeling of WSS Khandhi Sunas, WSS Ghulah, WSS WSS Dhansal Dharwar, WSS LOP Dhansal Badin Bagsaid, WSS Rahidhar and WSS Surah Salveen on the occasion. Later, the Chief Minister also inaugurated Rs. 9.81 crore office cum residential Building of Assistant Engineer PWD Sub Division Bagsaid, Rs. 65 lakh Additional accommodation of PWD Rest House Thunag, Rs. 15 crore Motorable Road from Chiuni to Spehnidhar and Rs. 1.56 crore Improvement of WSS Bharari Galu Ratti Shikwar. He laid foundation stones of Rs. 25.62 crore CHC Building Thunag, Rs. 1.04 crore 25 meter Bridge over Khahla Khad, Rs. 85 lakh 20 meter Span jeep road Bridge over Kotlu Khad, Rs 1.56 crore LIS to village Thunag, Bakhalwar and Odidhar, Rs. 1.66 crore Source strengthening of JJM Schemes 19 no. at Chhadi Khad in Gram Panchayats Seraja and Balichowki, Rs. 8.08 crore Renovation and remodeling of LWSS Jhundi, WSS Karswali, Bhayand, Jhundi, and LWSS Bharar Lamb Shafed in Thunag tehsil and Rs. 11.89 crore Renovation and remodeling of WSS Thunag, WSS Sewadhar Sunaah, WSS Bassal Balaindha and WSS Kheer Dhar. The Chief Minister also listened to public grievances at Bagsaid and passed on necessary directions to the concerned officers for its speedy redressal.
