CM Sukhu called on Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J. P. Nadda in New Delhi today and urged the Centre to extend support for key health sector projects in Himachal Pradesh.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister discussed in detail the need to strengthen health infrastructure across the State and requested Central assistance for the implementation of health infrastructure projects, in addition to support under the Ayushman Bharat Programme.
CM Sukhu emphasized the importance of timely Central intervention to enhance healthcare services and improve access to quality medical facilities for the people of Himachal Pradesh.
Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda assured the Chief Minister of all possible assistance from the Central Government for the development of the health sector in the State.
