Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the renovated complex of the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial Complex at Amritsar, in Punjab today via video conferencing from New Delhi.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur attended the event virtually from Manali in Kullu district.

Two minutes silence was also observed on the occasion in memory of Martyrs.

The virtual event displayed multiple development initiatives taken by the government to upgrade the complex. A short film was also screened on the occasion.

Chief Minister of Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh also spoke on the occasion.

Member of Parliament Amritsar welcomed the Prime Minister.
