CM Participates in Shining Himachal Conclave-2021

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government has ensured equitable and balanced development of every area and section of the society during its four-year tenure. During this period, the government has started several new schemes, which has ushered in a new era of development.

The Chief Minister said this during the Shining Himachal Conclave-2021 organized by the private TV channel Khabarein Abhi Tak here today. He said that with the active cooperation of the Centre Government and with benevolence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development has gained massive pace in the state. With the effective implementation of welfare schemes, positive socio-economic changes have been seen in the lives of the people of the state.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the present State Government has started many ambitious schemes including Mukhya Mantri Seva Sankalp Helpline-1100, Mukhya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Chief Minister Himachal Healthcare Scheme- Himcare, Mukhyamantri Sahara Yojna, Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kisan, Mukhya Mantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojna, etc.

He said that the index of Himachal Pradesh is better than many big states in several sectors. Himachal is the first state in the country to achieve 100 percent target in getting the first and second doses of covid-19 vaccination to the target population. The state has been ranked second in the Sustainable Development Goals Index and Dashboard 2020-21 released by NITI Aayog.

He said that despite the impact of Covid-19, the Government has taken several steps to speed up the development in Himachal Pradesh, which have yielded expected results. Himachal Pradesh has been ranked first in the country in the Most Improved Big State in Health Survey released by India Today in the year 2021. He said that Himachal Pradesh, which has emerged as a model state in the development of hilly areas and has carved a niche for itself.

Khabarein Abhi Tak Editor Nasir Qureshi, State Bureau Chief Arun Uniyal, senior officials and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
