CM Praises Army, Kangra Admin for Rescue Efforts

CM Sukhu has praised the prompt and coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, the Kangra district administration, and local residents in responding to the recent landslides in Bachwai village, Thural.

The Chief Minister acknowledged their swift action in evacuating stranded villagers to safe locations, ensuring that lives were protected amidst extremely difficult circumstances. He also appreciated the recovery of household valuables and belongings of 13 affected families, which were retrieved from severely damaged homes under hazardous conditions.

Highlighting the impact of the joint effort, CM Sukhu said the dedication and courage displayed by the Army and civil administration not only safeguarded lives and property but also restored hope and strengthened community trust in times of crisis.
