CM Presides over Meeting to discuss Preparations for 82nd All India Presiding Officers Conference

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements for 82nd All India Presiding Officers Conference and 58th Conference of Secretaries of Legislative Bodies being organized from 16th to 19th November, 2021 at Shimla directed for making adequate arrangements to celebrate this mega event in a befitting manner. He said that proper arrangements must also be made for ensuring proper boarding, lodging and transportation of the dignitaries during this four day event. He said that proper traffic plan must be ensured so that general public do not face any inconvenience. Jai Ram Thakur said that Vidhan Sabha complex, Peterhof must be tastefully decorated besides ensuring proper beautification of entire city.

He said that Lok Sabha would organise exhibition of the occasion thus, various departments must also exhibit the products on the occasion. He said that exhibition of Himachali products would be set up during the event. Secretary GAD Devesh Kumar welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries. Secretary Vidhan Sabha Yashpal Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting. Speaker Vidhan Sabha Vipin Singh Parmar, Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh, Additional Chief Secretaries Prabodh Saxena and J.C. Sharma, Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu,  Principal Secretary Subhashish Panda, IG Daljit Thakur, DIG Himanshu Mishra, MD HPTDC Amit Kashyap, SP Shimla Monica and other officers attended the meeting.
