CM Releases Poetry Book and Presented to Governor — Saudade-A Love Everlast

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur released book ‘Saudade – A Love Everlasting’ written by a young author Simran  Agarwal at Shimla today. Simran is currently pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry from Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. While appreciating the efforts of the young author and writer, Chief Minister said that this collection of poems would prove to be a readers delight and also inspire the budding writers. He also wished the all the very best for her bright future and future endeavours. The book is a collection of 70 poems divided into 8 themes i.e. Love, Heartbreak, Loss, Pain, Hope, Longing, Courage and Self-Love. The book first talks about falling in love, losing that love and what people might feel when they experience heartbreak and later shows how if we have hope and courage in life and learn to love ourselves things get better with time.

Father of Simran, Dinesh Agarwal, mother Nita Agarwal, Vishesh Agarwal, Alka Agarwal, Saksham Agarwal were also present on the occasion. Simran Agarwal presented her poetry collection ‘Saudade – A Love Everlasting’ to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan today. The book talks about love, hope and finding self-love. Appreciating the efforts of the author, the Governor said that through the poems she has uncovered the deep thoughts. She expressed hope that in future also she would continue her efforts in the field of writing. Simran Agarwal is a budding writer born in Lucknow, U.P. and brought up in Shimla. She is currently pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry from Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. Her mother is a teacher in Shimla and is a poetess herself. The book is a collection of 70 poems divided into 8 themes.

Book presented to Governor
