CM Unveils Rs. 69 Cr Projects in Ghumarwin

CM Sukhu, during his one-day visit to Ghumarwin Assembly Constituency in Bilaspur district, dedicated development projects worth approximately Rs. 69 crore to the public. The event saw the inauguration of two completed projects and the laying of foundation stones for five new initiatives.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Ghumarwin Police Station, constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.82 crore, and a check dam with a dyke over the Seer Khad, built at Rs. 3.67 crore.

He also laid the foundation stones for several key projects: a multi-purpose sports complex near Tikkari Helipad (Rs. 6.08 crore), family quarters within the Ghumarwin Police Station premises (Rs. 6 crore), upgradation of the seven-kilometer Amarpur-Hadsar-Dahad-Jaman-Ghumarwin road (Rs. 6.13 crore), upgradation of the 31-kilometer Ghumarwin-Barthin-Shah Talai road (Rs. 34.95 crore), and a 68-metre jeepable bridge over Seer Khad on the Badi Majhedwan-Dahad-Panol road (Rs. 6.80 crore).

On arrival, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by local residents, interacted with the public, and listened to their grievances, reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive development in the region.
