Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today visited The Ridge Shimla, the proposed venue of ‘Gareeb Kalyan Sammelan’ and Rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be held tomorrow. Chief Minister gave necessary directions to the organizers to make adequate arrangements for making the event a historic one. He also directed the officers to ensure proper connectivity during interaction of the Prime Minister with the beneficiaries.
He said that the police must also make proper arrangements for smooth plying of vehicles, parking of buses and other vehicles. Jai Ram Thakur also asked the officers to ensure that the general public and tourists do not face any inconvenience due to this mega event. Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, National Vice President BJP Saudaan Singh, State BJP Co-In charge Sanjay Tandon, Chairman State Cooperative Bank Khushi Ram Balnahta, Chairman HIMFED Ganesh Dutt, Principal Secretary IT Dr. Rajneesh were present on the occasion among others.
