Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh presides over a review meeting here today regarding celebrations of 50 years of Statehood of Himachal Pradesh in various districts of the State. The Administrative Secretaries were also present in the meeting and Deputy Commissioners joined the meeting virtually from their respective districts.
Chief Secretary directed the Administrative Secretaries to prepare an event based activity plan showcasing the journey of development of state in past 50 years. He also asked the Deputy Commissioners to chalk out a plan to organize various activities at their respective districts based on Swaran Jayanti celebrations of Statehood.
During the meeting the Administrative Secretaries and Deputy Commissioners apprised the Chief Secretary of the preparations made by the Departments and at district level for celebrations of Swaran Jayanti. The various activities would include youth festival, road safety programme, tourism mart, plantation drive, etc.
