D.P. Joshi, Former Himachal IPR Director, Passes Away at 88

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the demise of former Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Himachal Pradesh D.P. Joshi.  He was a resident of Nahan in Sirmaur district and passed away today in Dehradun at the age of 88.

The Chief Minister has extended his sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace of departed soul. He said that D.P. Joshi made significant contributions to the Department during his tenure as the Director.

Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Rajiv Kumar, said that D.P. Joshi had performed excellently during his tenure as Director for about four years. His professional approach and dedication to his work will be remembered for a long time. The officers and officials of the Department have also expressed their condolences on the passing of Joshi.
