The magic of famous Cinderella story came alive on stage as the students of DAV School Lakkar Bazaar enacted the story with a musical dance drama performed on the occasion of annual class concert celebration held at Gaiety Theatre.
During the concert efforts of the teachers and students were seen fetching fruits of their labour as audiences were spell bounded with the heart winning performances given by the students. The play was enacted for nearly an hour and during the entire time there was not even a single moment when the spectators came in contact with realty of life.
During the show approximately 150 students from Class Nursery to Second participated and gave a glimpse of their talent. Children were seen dressed as butterflies, fairies, peas, honeybees, sun, moon and fish to name.
Parents were overwhelmed with the performances of the students. Numerous students were honoured for their outstanding performances for their academic achievements throughout the year.
During the morning event Neelam Bali, former teacher and a known psychologists was present as the chief guest who appreciated the efforts of teachers and thanked the School Principal Kamna Beri to give her opportunity to be part of such a wonderful event. She encouraged parents to be sympathetic towards children as well as teachers. Efforts by both should be appreciated and this gratitude attitude towards teachers not only serves as morale booster for teachers but also makes them work hard for their students. She also insisted that parents should give children an opportunity to grow as all are not born alike and hence will never be same.
The Annual Report too was also presented on the occasion.
