Day 7 marked by recreational and team-building activities at the Annual Training Camp

The 7th day of the annual training camp for the 1HP Girls Battalion NCC Solan, held at UHF Nauni, was packed with a variety of activities and learning sessions aimed at fostering physical fitness, discipline, and awareness among the cadets.

The day commenced with a rigorous morning PT session, ensuring that the cadets started their day with energy and enthusiasm. This was followed by a firing competition, where budding firers from different institutions showcased their skills. The competition was conducted under the keen supervision of Camp Commandant Colonel Sanjay Shandil, ensuring fair play and safety throughout the event.

After the firing competition, the cadets participated in a drill class led by trained instructors. This session focused on perfecting their drill movements and instilling a sense of discipline and coordination.

The afternoon was dedicated to enhancing the cadets’ knowledge on critical contemporary issues. ASI Pawan Kumar delivered an insightful lecture on cybercrime, highlighting the dangers and preventive measures that should be taken in the digital age. This was followed by an informative lecture and demonstration on fire fighting conducted by the local fire department. The cadets were taught practical fire safety techniques and how to use fire extinguishers effectively.

The day concluded with a series of recreational and team-building activities. The cadets participated in a spirited volleyball match, followed by an exciting tug of war competition. These events not only provided physical exercise but also fostered camaraderie and team spirit among the participants.

Overall, the 7th day of the training camp was a blend of physical training, educational sessions, and engaging activities, contributing to the holistic development of the cadets.
